We had a record number of sunny days this November. That's enough to make a young girl swoon. This evening, walking from the Central library, my face was kissed with the most awe-inspiring Vancouver mist. Almost a reasonable substitute for a real kiss. And god knows it's been a good half year since yours truly has gotten any ounce of action. My employer at the captioning company googled my name to find my travel site! It was almost a negative thing because she was concerned that I wasn't interested in holding down a job for any length of time. Damn the Internet! Guess I shouldn't worry, considering I've gotten the job anyway. But still. It's strange when the 'net and real world cross. I'm not sure I'm too fond of it. Corinne and I are working on opposite schedules for the rest of the week. We celebrated our togetherness this evening by reenacting that scene from Scary Movie where the grim reaper and the potheads are yelling "Whassssssuuppppp?" back and forth to each other on the telephone. Little things amuse little minds. And on that note, folks, WHASSSSUPPPPPPP??!?!?!?
