music: "a miracle" - the hidden cameras I am starting to think that my album collection circa 1989 was really cool. I am not ashamed to say I owned a Wilson Phillips tape! I am not ashamed to say that not only did I have all the NKOTB tapes, but the cassette singles too, including Donnie Wahlberg's single with Japanese sensation Seiko and Tommy Page's collaboration with the band on "I'll Be Your Everything"! I am not ashamed that I, too, for a short fleeting period of time was awed by Mariah Carey. A very short short fleetingest of fleeting periods. I am not ashamed that I had a crush on Phil Cullen of Def Leppard and got down with "Rockit". I am not ashamed that one of my favourite songs was "Nightmare on My Street" by DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince. I am, however, ashamed that I gave all of this away. I am ashamed that only three years after this, I thought I would never - in my right mind - want to listen to any of this ever again. How wrong I was. And how disappointed am I. I hope you still like me.
