music: "everything in its right place" - radiohead First of all, the wasted girl at the Second Cup berated me for asking for a SMALL iced chocolate toffee beverage. Her brow furrowed in disdain as if I were the first person to ever ask for a perfect sized drink that half of which would not be emptied into the garbage bin, like the rest of the cups resting in her filthy shop. "Are you sure? I mean, it's this small." She waved the cup in her hand as if that would make it seem that more pathetic. "Yeah, I only want a little kicker, that's all..." She shrugs her shoulders as if to say I'd made the wrong decision but she had to do it since the customer is always right and then proceeds to make the beverage. I am so annoyed at her designer coffee we-don't-have-size-SMALLS-here-on-the-menu-we-call-it-regular-just-to-fool-you-people-into-thinking-there-isn't-anything-smaller-or-cheaper frufru condescension and her pathetic sneeze splatter of whipped cream that I don't even notice that she had made me a hot chocolate toffee drink and not an iced drink as specified. But being the passive aggressive gal I am, I end up sitting myself down in the piercing sun, irritating myself further and heating my already heated innards on her filthy small-sized drink. Bah! I'll get you my pretty...! Ye shall paye!
